A focused set of jobs, each done to a high standard. Prices start from the figure shown and are confirmed as a fixed price before I begin.
Shelves, mirrors & pictures
Floating shelves, mirrors, artwork and pictures, hung straight and secure, with the right fixings for plasterboard, brick or block.

Curtain poles & blinds
Poles, tracks and blinds measured, fitted and levelled, window by window, so they hang and operate as they should.

Small fixes around the home, flat-pack garden sheds, and the jobs on your list that never quite get done.

Rearranging at home
Moving furniture between rooms, or dismantling and reassembling a bed or wardrobe within your home. Please note I don't offer removals.

I'm not a gas, electrical or plumbing engineer, so I don't take on work that requires certification. For anything else around the home, just ask.

I arrive at the time we agree, and if anything changes you'll hear from me in advance.

An orderly work area and a clean finish. Packaging is left neatly stacked in one place, ready for your recycling.

Walls checked for pipes and cables before drilling, fixings matched to the surface, and every piece left level and secure.
Straightforward
A fixed price agreed before I start. You pay on completion by bank transfer or cash, with no deposit.

Fixed price & time
You receive a fixed price and an appointment time, often for the same or next day.
The work
I arrive on time with my own tools, complete the job carefully and check everything before I leave.
Pay on completion
Bank transfer or cash once you're happy. No deposit.

Good to know
Do you bring your own tools?
Yes: drill, drivers, spirit level and a stud and pipe detector. You just need the item and the fixings that came with it.
How do I pay?
By bank transfer or cash once the job is finished. No deposit and no card fees.
How soon can you come?
Often the same day or the next. I work seven days a week, including evenings.
What if parts are missing or damaged?
I'll let you know straight away and build as far as possible. You pay for what's completed, and I'll return to finish once the parts arrive.
Do you take away packaging or old furniture?
Packaging and rubbish removal isn't included, and I don't have a van for collections. I'll leave packaging neatly stacked for recycling, and can dismantle old furniture ready for the council's bulky-waste collection.
Who will do the work?
Me, Joey. I'm based in Golders Green and every job is done by me personally. I'm honest about what I can and can't do: if something needs a gas, electrical or plumbing engineer, I'll say so.
